12 April the whole world celebrates the Day of aviation and Astronautics (Space Probe Day).
This is a special day — the day of the triumph of science and all those who continue to work in the space industry.
12 April 1961 a citizen of the USSR Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin on the spacecraft "Vostok" the world's first orbital
committed circled the Earth, opening the era of manned space flight.
The flight lasted only 108 minutes, has become a powerful breakthrough in space exploration.
And today we see the startling successes of space technology — around the Earth turning tens of
thousands of satellites, spacecraft landed on Moon, Venus, Mars, a comet, that allows to bring out
or explore the on-site soil samples and atmosphere.
Obtained thousands of photos of very high quality and resolution.
Later on Mars and Venus fell robotic probes, several spacecraft left the Solar System and bear
the message of Extraterrestrial Civilizations.
And on October 4, 1957 in earth orbit was launched the world's first artificial Earth satellite.
In honor of this event, the world space week annually celebrated.
As known, before the spacecraft in villages people were sent flying four-legged friends of man.
In August 1960, the Soviet spacecraft "Vostok" with the dogs Belka and Strelka on board makes a
daily flight to return to Earth.
The first ever international space flight took place July 15, 1975 — the pioneers were the
Soviet ship "Soyuz-19" and American spaceship "Apollo".
